The Bisexual Underground aims to be a new sort of night out for London's bisexuals while also being a very traditional night out for Londoners. Open every second Tuesday of the month, from 6 p.m. until the bar staff wearily implore us to leave - it's a relaxed night out with a focus on fun.

Bisexual, Me?

A lot of people are unsure about bisexuals. Do we exist? Are we rampant sex crazed monsters? Are we all married, in the closet and in the cottage? All stereotypes are extremes, it seems - and the ones about us are no different. Why not meet some actual bisexuals, some other bisexuals, and find out for yourself?

And if you were wondering if you were the only bi in town - stop! There's usually over thirty at our nights at the pub.

Workshops Are For Lathes

You don't have to be bisexual to come, we welcome not only bisexuals and their partners but anyone curious about sexuality. You won't find us all sitting in one big circle having a debate the state of Queer Britain though - we're mainly here for the beer. Drinking, chatting, making new friends or even having a game of cards.

We see the Bisexual Underground as somewhere bis can gather without having to worry about explaining themselves, or having to hide what they are - no-one's going to ask you what you mean when you say you're bi, questioning your sexuality or curious about the possibility you might be bisexual.

Coming up

The Blue Posts is a Samuel Smiths pub with a large upstairs bar, on Newman Street just north of Oxford Street between Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus tubes. Reasonably-priced food is served until 8:30pm.

Please note - the upstairs bar is usually marked 'closed for private party', but that's OK; the private party is us.
